Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to check-in at an office on arrival?

No office check-in required! Windsor Hills is a 24hr secure gated resort. Upon arrival,  each arriving vehicle must stop at the gatehouse and the driver will be asked to show a valid driving licence. The driver’s licence and ePass/check-in pass (emailed to you prior to your arrival) will be checked to ensure you are a registered guest of our villa and you will be issued with a resort pass. You only have to register/check in at the gates the very first time you enter the resort – after that, you just scan your resort pass at the gates for entry and exit.

If you are arriving by taxi, the taxi driver must show a valid driving licence and the guest must also show photo ID (either passport or driving licence).  The guest’s name will be checked to ensure they are a registered guest of our villa.

You will be issued with all your check-in documents approximately two weeks prior to your arrival. We are happy to answer any pre-arrival questions and we have a great property management company who are available during your stay to answer any questions or concerns. They are on site every day at Windsor Hills so are able to take care of anything that comes up quickly and promptly!

Do I need to collect keys from an office?

No. Our villa has keyless entry via a digital door lock.  You can arrive any time after the check-in time of 4pm (unless an earlier check-in has been agreed).  The code is specific to your group and expires on your departure date.

Is the house equipped with linens and towels?

Yes. We have hand towels, bath towels and pool towels. All the bedding is provided and the only suggestion we make is to bring your own baby sheets and blankets if you have an infant in your group. We do provide them, but sometimes little ones prefer their own blankets.

There is a laundry room with separate washer and dryer for your convenience too.

Is the kitchen well equipped?

Yes, our kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator with freezer. We have cooking utensils, pots and pans, serving dishes, cutlery and lots of mugs, glasses, plates and dishes.  We also have plastic-ware for kids and we recommend using our plastic table ware for use by the pool too.

We also have a blender, filter coffee machine, hot water kettle and toaster.

Do you provide any starter essentials?

The following items are provided in our home for your convenience, to help get you started!

1x Kitchen sponge

1x roll of kitchen paper towels

1x small bottle of dishwashing soap/liquid

1x small pack of laundry detergent

2x trash Bags,

1x small hand soap and mini shampoo and conditioner per bathroom

1x roll of toilet paper/tissue per bathroom

Where are the nearest grocery stores?

There is a convenience store on site at the club house where you can pick up essentials, but the nearest grocery stores are Walmart (2 minutes’ drive) and Publix (10 minutes’ drive).

Both offer delivery service too.  Walmart also offers Click and Collect.

Is there resort transportation to and from the parks?

There are one or two companies offering private shuttle service, but these are generally expensive. Windsor Hills is so close to Disney and some guests prefer to Uber or use Lyft to get to the parks.  It costs from $15 each way and is a great alternative to parking, although most of our guests do prefer to have rental cars for flexibility.

How do we access the resort amenities?

The resort amenities are readily available for you to enjoy!  The pool area and water park are within a gated area but both are FREE to all our registered guests.  Access requires wristbands which can be collected from the Welcome Center and one adult in your group can collect the wrist bands for your entire group.  The wristbands are valid for the full duration of your stay.  Equipment hire for tennis and basketball can also be found at the Welcome Center.
